About Us
who we are...
We are yoga and massage therapists who needed some space. 2020 forced us to get more creative with how and where we worked while the world went into lockdown, and as we scrambled around to teach and film yoga classes online from our living rooms, trying to stay creative and motivated while surrounded by pushed-back sofas, we knew we needed our own space.
So we created Soluna Space. A calm haven in central Lagos to practice yoga, treat clients and share with our community. We are still there (check out Soluna Space Lagos) but have expanded to lovely Lisbon. We are currently mobile, so can come to your home or workspace.
We look forward to meeting you
Rach has been a student of yoga for 20 years and a yoga teacher for eight. In that time she has trained in and taught Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Restorative Yoga, Yin, Qi Yo and traditional Hatha. She has also studied and practiced Qi Gong and Meditation and is currently studying for an advanced teacher training which will enable her to teach yoga to professional athletes and people in sport.
From all these different styles gathered over the years, she has settled somewhere in between and now teaches a weird mixture of everything depending on the student’s needs and what she is currently excited about. She also works with physios to create bespoke plans for clients 1-1, and is boringly geeky about anatomy, the relationships between yoga practices and mental health, and the importance of wellbeing practices to our nervous systems. Becca has studied Scaravelli, Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin and 5 Element yoga. She teaches a slow, strong, flowing practice sprinkled with 5 Element theory, Acupressure, and Qi Gong techniques.
When she’s not teaching, she’s a Shiatsu practitioner: a Japanese bodywork technique to shift stuck energy. She is passionate about helping people explore the more subtle realms of their existence in a light and accessible way to help restore their balance of mental and physical health.
Becca’s classes invite play, freedom of movement, and detailed explanation of how to find shapes that free the body from stagnation and pain. For more information, check out holisticallybecca.com
